Lifelessness without belief

This is a term a coined for myself. A term to keep on going. Yesterday I was down in the dumps again. It was for the usual reasons. No sun, lack of company throughout the day and no concrete job as usual. It takes so much to keep going on on some days.

There is something about belief and the lack of it. How many of you have suffered from faith being shattered? Some of you who have suffered would agree that it takes a long time to bring yourself back in to believing. It reminds me of all the times I've been back stabbed. It always was a long and painful journey back to believing again in friendship. Its the same with career. Once you've been rejected by  a company, it takes you sometime to gulp back those tears and get in to action.

Life becomes so shallow and dark without belief. I'm going through this lifelessness. I can't really let you in on what it is but I can ask you to shower me in with some light and hope.

The past couple of days I've not been able to write, paint, or do anything substantial. I don't even know what it is that's left me so devoid of colors. Am I homesick? Am I just miserable without a job or is it the recent deceit I just faced?

For those of you who read this, do pour in some suggestions on how to snap out of this lifelessness.

  1. Faith is all you have. Keep the faith and you will ride through all the lifelessness that you are feeling currently. Look at the brighter side of things. I know it is difficult to do that. It is a basic human tendency get overwhelmed by all the negative thoughts. Think of your supportive parents, lovely sis, loving and doting hubby and ur loyal frds... Think how lucky you are to have them in your life and how much they love you for what you are. Think of the a cherished time with each of them, and I am sure you won’t be able to stop yourself from smiling.

Sometimes, when you have a burning desire to bring a change, or you are not being able to do what you really want to do – de-motivation really sets in – real bad! And it can take you in the darkest corners that you have never been to. So, remember you are a fighter and can take on any body. I mean anybody. Believe in yourself. You only you have the power to snap out of it. You have successfully done it in past and you can do it now as well.

Thirdly, if somebody in you life doesn't care about your feelings, and has in someway shown unfaithfulness towards you, then that person in not worthy enough to be sulked upon. You can’t afford to waste either time or energy on thinking about the reasons on what went wrong. Give the person or the situation two tight kicks, two gallis in german and get the stupid load off your mind! Snap out of it...

Go and do something that will make you feel yourself. Like get your ear or eyebrow or lips pierced.... or get some beads braided in your hair... or get a tattoo to mark a new learning in your life...or color your hair...buy a sexy pair of foot pair. Things like these will help you take ur mind off from all the disturbing thoughts.

Don't worry, be happy. Remember whatever happens, happens for the best. Learn from your mistakes and past experiences and learn never to repeat them.

Take care and hope to see you soon in your joyful state as ever. :)
